Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry in PLEASANTVILLE (NOT PLEASANT HILL), is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of trusses. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler 

Location: Pleasantville, IA (NOT PLEASANT HILL)

Pay Range: $23.59 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform repetitive jobs on a production table to produce or assemble trusses.
• Read work orders and follow assembly leader's instructions accurately.
• Assist in jig setup and position precut lumber in the jig by hand.
• Connect joints using metal plates and various tools such as a hammer and pneumatic staple gun.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adapting to different workstations as needed.

What's Needed?

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations and interpret data.
• Strong reasoning ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively.
• Physical capability to lift and move weights as required by the job.
