Business Consultant Associate

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204 Duration: 6 Months

Job Description: Selected resources will support strategic initiatives within MPH. This role will work closely with senior leadership to gather stakeholder input, analyze complex information, and develop clear, actionable documentation that informs critical business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, program managers, and subject matter experts
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources into clear, concise memos and reports
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support agency decision-making Translate complex technical or policy information into accessible written communications
• Support project planning and implementation activities as needed Assist with research, data gathering, and analysis on assigned projects

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in business, public administration, policy, communications, or related field
• Experience conducting interviews with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, program managers, and subject matter experts
• Experience developing business cases and recommendations to support decision-making
• Experience supporting project planning and implementation activities
• Experience translating complex technical or policy information into accessible written communications
• Experience assisting with research, data gathering, and analysis
• Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with senior officials
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Internship or coursework in consulting, policy analysis, business analysis, or related areas
• Experience synthesizing research or interview data into written deliverables
• Familiarity with government operations or public sector environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence
