Optician Responsibilities:

• Take precise measurements of patients' eyes and faces to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear.
• Interpret and fill prescriptions provided by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.

Qualifications:

Valid New York State Optical License (required). Strong understanding of optical principles, lens designs, and eyewear troubleshooting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with patients and team members in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience as a Licensed Optician is preferred.
