Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an HR SOP Compliance Administrator to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guides related to payroll workflows.
  • Create clear, user-friendly documentation using tools like Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, PDF, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to capture accurate process details, including tax and termination procedures.
  • Document new payroll processes and revise outdated guides, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage documentation projects independently, including timelines, stakeholder interviews, and final delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and UKG (international experience preferred).
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation.
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations, especially California-specific requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Smartsheet for document creation and project tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical writing, HRIS, or payroll documentation roles.
  • High attention to detail, especially when working with screenshots, footnotes, and system flows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience documenting international payroll processes is a plus.
  • Project management skills with the ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
