Civil Litigation Attorney w/Book

Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Experienced Civil Litigation Attorney for Civil Litigation in St. Petersburg, FL

 

An established firm based in St. Petersburg, FL with over 20+ years in practice is seeking an Experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role is intended for a senior-level attorney with a portable book of business and strong experience handling complex commercial disputes, business litigation, contract disputes, real estate litigation, and general civil litigation matters in Florida state and federal courts.

Salary range: $175,000-$300,000+ contingent on experience and portable book

Qualifications
Active Florida Bar license in good standing
Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated portable book of business with consistent originations
Strong experience handling complex civil and commercial litigation matters
Proven deposition, motion practice, mediation, and courtroom experience
Ability to independently manage a full litigation caseload
Established referral relationships and commitment to business development

 

Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing book of civil litigation matters
Originate new matters through established referral sources and business development efforts
Handle cases from inception through resolution including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial
Develop litigation strategies and assess risk exposure and case valuation
Draft and argue dispositive and substantive motions
Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth and mentoring junior attorneys
