Contract Trial Attorney
Personal Injury Litigation
Full-Time, Long-Term Contract Position
On-Site in West Palm Beach, Florida

A well-established boutique law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation to join its team on a full-time contract basis. This assignment is expected to begin immediately and continue for several months.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who enjoys handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters, is comfortable managing an active caseload, and can step in quickly to support a busy trial practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from litigation through trial
• Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategies
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal filings
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for deposition and trial
• Attend trial calendars and assist with all phases of trial preparation
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation conferences
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing
• Minimum 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience
• Prior trial experience strongly preferred
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Available to start immediately

Position Details

• Full-time contract assignment
• On-site in West Palm Beach, Florida
• Immediate start
• Assignment expected to last several months
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
