This is a pivotal executive leadership role overseeing a fully integrated, self-managed platform spanning conventional multifamily and manufactured housing communities across multiple states. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, enhancing resident experience, and leading a large, multi-layered property management organization.

  • Drive operational efficiency through the development and implementation of best-in-class policies, procedures, and process improvements
  • Monitor portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and expense controls, to ensure revenue optimization and profitability
  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, as well as internal policies and risk management standards
  • Oversee vendor relationships, procurement processes, and accounts payable functions to maintain service quality and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive property management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale residential portfolios, ideally across multiple regions
  • Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing large teams
  • Deep understanding of property management operations, systems, and regulatory environments
  • Experience with property management software (Rent Manager preferred)

Key Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making
  • Leadership and team development
  • Operational excellence and process optimization
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation

Benefits:

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan
  • Tuition reimbursement

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to or relocate to Stamford, CT
  • Willingness to undergo a background check upon offer

The Opportunity:

This is a rare opportunity to join a stable, privately held organization with a long-standing reputation and significant portfolio scale. The role offers meaningful executive visibility and the ability to directly impact operational performance across a diverse and geographically dispersed platform.

If you bring a hands-on leadership style, strong operational discipline, and a passion for driving results at scale, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
