We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sinker Operator specializing in EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) with a strong focus on production and tooling. In this role, you will operate sinker EDM machines to produce precise metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Your expertise in tooling setup, machine operation, and production workflows will be vital to maintaining efficient manufacturing processes within a dynamic factory environment. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sinker EDM machines with precision to produce complex metal parts according to detailed specifications.
• Adjust machine parameters and tooling setups to optimize cutting performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Inspect finished components using hand tools, measuring devices, and visual checks to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot EDM equipment, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to plan production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist in the development and modification of tooling fixtures for improved machining efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of power tools, hand tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

Experience

• Proven factory experience working within a manufacturing facility, preferably in metalworking or precision machining environments.
• Mechanical knowledge related to EDM machinery, tooling setup, and assembly line processes.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques used in manufacturing settings.
• Warehouse experience, including forklift operation, is a plus for material handling tasks. • Familiarity with factory safety standards and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
