Entry level - Biochemist - Protein Conjugation Full-time

• General knowledge of biochemistry, protein chemistry, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with basic bioconjugation reactions (e.g., maleimide/thiol) and purification techniques.
• Familiarity with routine laboratory instruments and applicable software.
• Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to maintain neat, accurate, and complete batch records.
• Capable of training others effectively.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a biological science discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in protein conjugation.
• Ability to perform conjugation processes accurately and independently, with a solid understanding of techniques and background.
• Must learn and execute standard and custom protein conjugation methods independently.
• Will collaborate with application testing scientists and dye chemists to evaluate conjugate performance.
• Technical skills include operation of pipettes, spectrophotometers, fluorimeters, pumps, fraction collectors, water baths, and chromatography systems (FPLC, ion exchange, SEC) and ultrafiltration.
