Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Microbiologist to join their team! This position is located in Berkeley, California. We encourage recent graduates to apply - biology, microbiology, etc. Duties: Support daily operations within quality control microbiology laboratories Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples, including growth promotion testing Perform testing activities on commercial and clinical samples to support product release Ensure all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environment Desired Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field 0+ years of relevant laboratory experience, including laboratory research completed in undergraduate studies Proficiency in aseptic technique for microbiological testing Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position starting at $60-$65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
