Role Description

The Environment, Health, and Safety Manager will oversee and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, investigating workplace incidents, and providing training on occupational health and safety. The Manager will work proactively to identify and mitigate environmental and workplace hazards, promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Norwalk, OH.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health practices
  • Experience in accident investigation and reporting, with the ability to determine root causes and suggest preventive measures
  • Strong training skills to deliver health and safety programs to employees
  • Proficiency in interpreting legal safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and foster a culture of safety across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field; certifications like CSP or OSHA 30 are advantageous
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
