Salary: USD $78,208 – $150,000 / yr

What You’ll Be Doing as Environmental Health & Safety Officer:
Implementing and enforcing environmental health and safety policies across facilities
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and all state and local safety regulations
Conducting safety inspections and identifying hazards and violations
Coordinating corrective actions with internal teams, vendors, and contractors
Serving as liaison between employees and outside contractors for safety-related issues
Participating in emergency preparedness planning and crisis management teams
Developing and conducting EH&S training and maintaining LMS course materials
Monitoring incidents, tracking safety data, and preparing reports in coordination with HR
Applying for and managing environmental permits, licenses, and compliance documentation
Maintaining digital safety records and documentation through SharePoint
Coordinating facility safety supplies and standardizing safety-related materials
Supporting corporate services reporting and monthly safety initiatives
What You’ll Need to Have as Environmental Health & Safety Officer:
U.S. Citizenship is required
Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental health and safety regulations
Ability to understand building plans and facility systems
High School Diploma/GED with 20+ years of experience OR
Associate’s Degree with 14 years of experience OR
Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience OR
Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Effective training and presentation skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and perform facility safety inspections
