Fire Sprinkler Inspector (RME-I)

The Role

As a Sprinkler Inspector, your primary mission is to perform routine inspections, testing, and minor maintenance on water-based fire protection systems. You will be the expert on-site, identifying potential hazards and ensuring our clients' systems are ready to perform when it matters most.

Core Requirements

• Licensing: You must hold a current RME-I (Responsible Managing Employee - Inspector) license. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
• Experience: While previous field experience is preferred , it is not mandatory . We are fully prepared to provide hands-on training for an RME-I holder who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the nuances of the trade.

Responsibilities & Skills

• System Testing: Conduct functional testing of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow preventers.
• Documentation: Utilize modern inspection software to document findings, deficiencies, and NFPA-compliant reports in real-time.
• Technical Proficiency: Operate valves, switches, and gauges with precision; identify pipe corrosion, obstructions, or improper head placement.
• Client Relations: Explain inspection findings to building owners and managers clearly and professionally.
• Safety Mindset: Maintain a clean driving record and strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols.
