Position Summary

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks Schedule: ~20 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative Summer HR Intern to support our Human Resources team during a high-growth period. This 6-week, part-time internship (20 hours per week) will be based on-site in our Norwalk office. The intern will play a key role in two primary projects: supporting a company-wide I-9 audit to ensure compliance and assisting in the planning and execution of our summer cultural event. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to both HR operations and employee engagement initiatives while working closely with HR and cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with a comprehensive I-9 audit and rescrub to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Review, organize, and validate employee records and identify discrepancies
  • Support planning and execution of a company-wide summer cultural event
  • Develop and coordinate internal communications for the event
  • Partner with Marketing on event materials, branding, and collateral
  • Help plan event activities, engagement initiatives, and overall experience
  • Build and manage timelines to ensure key milestones and deliverables are met
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the HR team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Prior internship or campus involvement preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Creative thinker with an interest in employee engagement and culture-building
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
