Unique Vacations, Inc. -- an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts -- is seeking a forward-thinking Human Resources Intern to join its remarkable Miami-based, in-house team for the summer of 2026.

About The Program

We offer a 12-week paid internship program, beginning May 18, 2026 to August 6, 2026. Our Future Forward Intern will help gain experience and exposure to international markets and clients. They will play a crucial role in promoting luxury Caribbean destinations and knowledge in business services to succeed in an organization. The 28 weekly hours for the program are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Job Description

Unique Vacations is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship provides an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where you'll be instrumental in crafting digital assets to promote our all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

• Assist the Human Resources department with the daily operations in responding to internal and external HR related inquiries, requests and/or provide assistance.
• Experiment with new, creative ways to engage our team members and initiate team-building activities.
• Assist the Human Resources department with development of communications that engage and inspire in accordance with departmental goals and day-to-day needs.
• Assist the Human Resources department with engagement events including monthly engagement celebrations, milestones, birthdays, benefits engagements.
• Create and process purchase orders for the department and events committee
• Assist the Benefits Manager with creation and processing Employee Resort Requests.
• Assist the Benefits Manager with new hire communication and follow up emails.
• Support Benefits Manager with FMLA documentation and worker's compensation records.
• Assist with communication follow ups and employee lifecycle.
• Provide continuous support to the Global Vice President of Human Resources on a daily basis.
• Assist Human Resources department with any current and future assignments and projects, as needed.

Qualifications Include

• Junior or Senior student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Possess the ability to generate enthusiasm among diverse constituencies and individuals.
• Must have the ability to exhibit excellent customer service, integrity, and confidentiality when working with both internal and external customers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships both internally and externally.
• Passionate about helping others and ability to work positively and productively in fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Share Drives, Canva, and HRIS system tools.
