Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the company while engaging with healthcare personnel. Handle packages with care to avoid injury or damage; lift packages with proper technique and ensure they are securely fastened during transportation. Perform daily pre‑trip, post‑trip, and safety inspections and report any issues immediately. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including wearing seat belts, obeying speed limits, right‑of‑way rules, and traffic signals. Ensure on‑time pickup and delivery of cargo as scheduled, maintaining strong communication with dispatch and the operations team. Perform other duties as required. Requirements Valid U.S. Driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Qualifications Age 21 years or older. Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record. Prepared to drive throughout Georgia. Reliable, well‑maintained vehicle (sedan, SUV, small van preferred; temperature‑controlled vehicle a plus). Excellent time‑management, customer service, and communication skills. Compliance with HIPAA and medical‑item handling procedures. Knowledge of Georgia geography, including metro and rural areas for efficient routing. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a courier, delivery driver, or transportation professional, especially within the medical, pharmaceutical, or logistics sectors. Familiarity with chain‑of‑custody procedures. DOT medical card if operating larger vehicles or driving long distances. Experience working as an independent contractor (1099). Strong safety mindset and understanding of safety protocols. Excellent customer‑service experience, demonstrating compassionate care. Exceptional attention to detail for vehicle inspections, package handling, and record‑keeping. Ability to meet deadlines and optimize delivery routes efficiently.
