EMSL is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Asbestos) in Cinnaminson, NJ. The technician supports the laboratory analysts by preparing samples for analysis. No laboratory experience is required, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Some laboratory experience either in academic or commercial setting is a plus Ability to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25lbs and standing for various lengths of time Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal assistance
Available Shifts: Position is full time, Monday to Friday 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Training schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cinnaminson, NJ are encouraged to apply.
