We are a rapidly growing one physician ophthalmology practice with a large patient base, in addition to a large primary care referral base. We are seeking an experienced full-time licensed optician to manage our optical dispensary, in a friendly, personable environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about assisting patients with all aspects of their eyewear needs. Responsibilities include: Frame selection, fitting, dispensing & repairs Strong background in filling contact lens prescriptions and contact lens fitting Skills in frame board arrangement and displays Frame inventory management and ordering Strong knowledge of processing vision insurance Track status of patient orders to ensure accurate and timely deliveries Contact patients for frame and contact lens pick-up Experience working with Compulink EMR is a plus Working knowledge of sales reports and accurate accounting of optical sales Applicants must have: Strong customer service skills Strong organizational skills Possess a strong work ethic Be a good team player We offer competitive pay, with paid holidays and vacation; we are closed on the weekends.
