PrideStaff is hiring for a Mechanical Assembler
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished equipment per drawings and specifications.
2. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOM).
3. Perform mechanical fitting, drilling, tapping, alignment, and fastening of components.
4. Utilize personal hand tools including wrenches, hex keys, screwdrivers, pliers, and related tools.
5. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
6. Identify and report defects, material shortages, or assembly issues to supervisor.
7. Maintain clean and organized work area.
8. Follow company safety policies and procedures.
9. Assist team members and support production goals as required.
10. Escalate technical or production concerns to supervisor as needed.
OTHER DUTIES: 1. Other duties and projects as assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: 1. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills.
3. Ability to use standard mechanical hand tools safely and effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production staff.
7. Must have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
8. Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Must be able to work in manufacturing environment including exposure to noise and machinery.
2. Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds.
3. Job requires standing for extended periods of time with bending, stooping, and kneeling.
4. Must be able to use hand tools and perform repetitive motions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred.
3. Experience in industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
2. Experience in HVAC, automotive repair, or similar hands-on mechanical field strongly preferred.
3. Experience assembling industrial equipment or machinery preferred.
4. Familiarity with pneumatic systems, motors, and mechanical drive components preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. Part-time schedule as assigned, to Full time.
2. Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
SAFETY HAZARDS: 1. Manufacturing environment.
2. Mechanical and electrical assembly.
3. Warehouse setting.
Our pay range is $20-$25/hour DOE
