Patient Access Representative Location:- Carrollton, TX 75010 (Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to support front-office operations in a healthcare setting. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience while managing scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative workflows. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates professionalism, and excels at building strong patient relationships. What You’ll Do Answer and manage inbound and outbound patient calls in a timely and professional manner Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Collect copays and patient payments at the time of service Enter and update patient insurance information accurately in the system Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits Perform clerical duties , including chart preparation and documentation in electronic health records Fax and manage patient-related documentation as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient concerns and resolving issues professionally Support overall clinic operations and ensure a smooth patient flow Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting Experience with front office operations and patient-facing roles Familiarity with insurance processes (verification, eligibility, billing basics) Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong typing and computer skills Preferred Qualifications Strong customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate patient concerns professionally Positive attitude with a patient-first approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Onsite clinic environment Direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams Fast-paced, customer-focused setting Dress Code Business casual (gray or khaki pants with a polo shirt) Professional and patient-appropriate appearance Interview Process Format: In-person only Meet with hiring team to discuss experience and role expectations Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
