Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s level credential in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, School Psychology (with a TSPC license), or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with concentrated autism training
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with students who have autism, spanning various age groups and across the spectrum from high-functioning to non-speaking, severely impacted individuals
  • Demonstrated capability completing autism evaluations and assessments measuring educational impact
  • Current and valid licensure and certification as required in Oregon
  • Experience navigating both general education and specialized settings for students on the autism spectrum
  • Familiarity with public school systems and special education practices preferred
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive autism assessments and consultations
  • Develop and implement individualized programs and strategies for students with autism in K-12 settings
  • Provide staff development, coaching, and ongoing support to educators
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and district specialists to support inclusive and specialized programming
  • Offer resources and recommendations grounded in evidence-based practices
