divh2Payables Specialist/h2pThis role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payment requests to Intermountain Healths (IH) suppliers for goods and services. This role ensures that all payment requests are processed in compliance with IH policies and procedures. This role provides excellent customer service and has a thorough understanding of IHs Accounts Payable (AP) systems, processes, and controls. This temporary Accounts Payable Specialist opportunity (34 months) is a chance to step into a meaningful role supporting timely, accurate payments to Intermountain Healths suppliers. Youll apply your AP expertise, collaborate with internal teams, and help keep critical financial operations running smoothly during a high-impact period./ppTemporary Position: Payables Specialist/ppTemporary (anticipated 3-4 month assignment)/ppBenefits: Not eligible/ppSchedule: Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM./ppEssential Functions/pulliData Validation/liliSolves problems within AP systems and understand AP processes/liliPerforms routine, repetitive tasks in recording day-to-day transactions related to payables, reconciliations, systems, and reports./liliResolves errors and notifies appropriate personnel to prevent future occurrences. Research routine issues and makes recommendations for improvement./liliProvides excellent customer service to colleagues and customers with timely and professional phone calls, instant messages and emails./liliDemonstrates ownership and accountability by taking responsibility for tasks and exemplifies dependable attendance./liliManages a volume of work to meet required deadlines and set department goals./liliUnderstands and applies IHs policies and procedures./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpSkills/pulliAccounts payable/liliAccounts payable systems and software/liliAccounting/liliU.S. GAAP/liliCommunication/liliCustomer service/liliInternal controls/liliWord processing/liliSpreadsheets/li/ulpQualifications/pulliIntermediate-level typing and personal computer skills are required./liliExperience with payables or related experience is preferred./liliCompletion of college-level finance and/or accounting courses is preferred./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliOngoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, and be able to assess customer needs./liliInteract with others requiring the employee to communicate information./liliManual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate equipment with precision and accuracy.
