Stick Welder / Fabricator (Shop) – Concord, NC

Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Concord, NC (Shop Position – No Field Work)

A growing local manufacturing company in the Concord, NC area is seeking an experienced Stick Welder/Fabricator to join our shop team. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy building custom metal products in a clean, professional shop environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on carbon steel components
• Cut, grind, fit, and prepare metal for fabrication
• Build and assemble handrails, railings, frames, brackets, and other fabricated metal products
• Read and interpret basic shop drawings and blueprints
• Safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous Stick (SMAW) welding experience required
• Experience cutting and grinding metal
• Fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
• Experience building handrails or structural metal components is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable with a positive work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
