As a contract Registered Nurse specializing in PACU, you will support patients during the critical recovery period following surgery, delivering high-quality clinical care in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with flexible scheduling based on clinical needs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent PACU, critical care, or recovery unit experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient relations skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients emerging from anesthesia, tracking vital signs and levels of consciousness
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions or post-operative complications
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies accurately
• Provide clear postoperative instructions and support to patients and families
• Work closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Ensure safety, infection control, and comfort standards are upheld at all times
