Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts (7:30 am – 6:00 pm)
• Weekdays only; no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license and active BLS & ALS certifications
• Minimum 3 years of recent, full-time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high-volume hospital
• Demonstrated expertise in all phases of postoperative and post-procedure care
• Ability to manage pain per ASPAN guidelines
• Strong independent judgment and rapid proficiency with new processes
• Solid references verifying previous PACU experience

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients in the immediate postoperative period and monitor for complications
• Evaluate responses to anesthesia, manage pain, and coordinate interventions according to current standards
• Anticipate and address surgical or procedure-specific needs for optimal recovery
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary perioperative teams
• Uphold a high standard of patient advocacy and hospital policy adherence
