Requisition # 11003001_COMPANY_1.6 Job Title: MCA/SRP Support Specialist Job Type: Full-time Location: Creech AFB, NV US (Primary); Indian Springs, NV 89018 US Category: Operations Purpose of Position This position is responsible for operating and maintaining MQ 1/9 Bridge Contract. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School graduate. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Training and Experience: Previous (last five years) MQ-9 experience (LRE preferred, MCE acceptable), working knowledge of ATLC, and working knowledge of SATCOM Launch and Recovery (SLR). AIS Graduate. Working knowledge of Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS) development criteria and requirements for manned platforms sufficient to implement emerging policy to bridge manned and unmanned instrument flight requirements/procedures for future integration of unmanned aircraft in the NAS. Familiar with coordinate mensuration methodologies. General Skills: Must be able to prioritize tasks, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, have the ability to handle multiple tasks, high analytical ability, detail oriented, and work with little to no supervision. Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Security Clearance: Must be able to access or be eligible for a "TS/SCI" level security clearance. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and process MAJCOM Certified Approaches (MCA) and Supplemental Recovery Procedures (SRP): See Appendix A1.5 for workload IAW AFMAN 11-2MQ-9 Volume 3 for global operations. Establish standard operating procedure between A3MQ and MCA/SRP office that identifies procedures and processes for steps that requesting organizations must follow to receive support. Develop an SRP for OG/CC approval within 72 hours of notification, in accordance with approved LOA. Develop an MCA for NAF/A3 or MAJCOM A3 approval within 72 hours of notification, in accordance with approved LOA. Develop supporting approval package and submit for approval within 14 business days of notification. Draft associated ATLC data-files for all MCA/SRP. Develop ATLC data-file for MCA/SRP within 72 hours of notification (assumes sufficient LOA pre-exists). Support MCA/SRP development for all OLs globally in all MAJCOMs in order to be prioritized by the government. Review/develop LOA needed for MCA/SRP and OL approval and coordinate with applicable NAF/MAJCOM staffs for approval. Generate ATLC pattern profile files according to established LOA or other agreement guidance. Generate ATLC runway surveys according to published TTPs. This can include coordination with National Geospatial Intelligence Agency representatives, targets, ground reconnaissance parties, or base ops personnel to obtain mensurated coordinates. Draft Automatic Takeoff and Landing Capability (ATLC) overlay on existing approach including selecting an appropriate IFR procedure and plotting the ATLC flight path relative to it. Be able to quantify and display differences between the two. When an underlying procedure does not exist, recommend a suitable approach path IAW AFMAN 11-2MQ-9 Volume 3 and published techniques and procedures. Recommend emergency mission routing IAW AFMAN 11-2MQ-9 Volume 3. Mensurate coordinates to support ATLC overlay and MCA/SRP development (requires TS/SCI). Conduct obstacle clearance analysis including quantifying and displaying terrain and obstacle clearance. Recommend adjustments to flight path to ensure required clearance. Draft and submit approval package per AFMAN 11-2MQ-9 Volume 3 ensuring approach development, risk analysis, and ensure staff package is complete including any required flight information publications or other host nation requirements. Integrate and coordinate required MCA/SRP support with such offices and agencies required by the government to synchronize higher headquarters efforts for integration in the national airspace system (NAS). Submit Digital Aeronautical Flight information File updates as required to appropriate units/agencies. Develop and manage the MCA FLIP database on NIPR and SIPR. Conduct quarterly reviews of MCA FLIP database (monitors changes of underlying approaches requiring an MCA update). Standardize all ATLC data-file naming nomenclature per AFMAN 11-2MQ-9 Volume 3. Conduct quarterly reviews of published ATLC data-files. Conduct quarterly assessments of future MCA/OL candidates; track status of approval packages; and track status flyability checks provided by USG government personnel. As an alternate duty to be prioritized by the government around primary duties: This could entail WG agencies support as needed (quarterly flight safety meeting, stan/eval visits, etc). Perform CONUS and OCONUS travel, as directed by the government, in support of duties. Perform virtual or in-person training to the government on MCA/SRP or associated products developed.
