This travel opportunity presents a robust platform for experienced PACU RNs to thrive in a high-volume surgical setting. You'll be exposed to a variety of cases, diverse patient populations, and innovative leadership strategies, ensuring continual professional development. Working alongside an accomplished perioperative care team, you'll sharpen your clinical expertise and leadership skills, elevating your resume with hands-on experience in advanced post-anesthesia care.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Weekdays, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (no on-call, weekends, or holidays)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years recent, full-time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high-volume hospital
• Demonstrated proficiency in postoperative and post-procedure care
• BLS and ALS certifications required
• Must provide verifiable references from recent experience
• Ability to function independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• In-depth understanding of ASPAN protocols and surgical patient management

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to post-anesthesia treatments and interventions
• Effectively manage pain and anticipate patient needs following surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to established hospital policies and evidence-based practices
• Deliver compassionate care with sound clinical judgment in rapidly changing situations
